The Ilfracome & District Model Boat Club was formed by a small band of model boat enthusiasts who met on a Sunday morning at Bicclescombe Park, Ilfracombe to sail their models. After more modelers in the area got to hear of us and joined in our weekly get together, it was decided to put the club on a more formal footing and the Ilfracombe and District Model Boat Club was formed in 2000.
