Barnstaple Pilot Gig Club

Our club was founded in January 2010 by a small bunch of keen gig rowers who felt that it was about time that Barnstaple had its own Pilot Gig Club. We now have over 50 members a brand new race gig Lady Freda and a training gig Odessa. In the 2011 race season we will be entering crews in gig racing regattas throughout the South West of England. We will also be out on the water offering social rowing for those who just want to enjoy the water on the River Taw and more competative training for those who want to compete in Regatta..
